We are all a work in progress

You see it everywhere
Read it in books, hear it on the radio.
Being brave can change the world.
The brave I see and hear about the most is a brave face.

Addictions, financial issues, abuse.  People going through those seasons just wish it would all go away and that the sun would shine a little brighter on their side.

My problems don't seem large at all then.  You cry and tell them life isn't easy and that you are thankful for your blessings.

We make messes every day
Small ones that add up.
We are all a work in progress.
be brave again and be real

single moms that never get a break
moms that want to leave their husbands
babies in the er that are sick
people walking away from the hard

wherever you are in  those moments lending a hand, lending an ear or shoulder to cry on
opening your heart

Your brave keeps standing
even through the hard and pain

there is always grace in these times where you feel like you fumble as well

tlc for the friend who's seriously ill
her dirt is your pleasure
because I have dirt too and it doesn't need to be hidden
crying, crazy children in the store and a mom in despair
she's doing this hard and glorious thing called motherhood
just knowing someone sees the struggle and doesn't judge is being brave

we all have a reason to cling to hope
real can be scary but it is the new brave

ask my kids
they know the real me
and they love me no matter what

better yet...Jesus loves me this I know
be the brave woman by being real
never hiding the messy truth
being brave is easier than pretending

being brave means you are not afraid to show the hard stuff
