passing me up

not sure what happened but I shrunk an inch and so did Dave ....and Odin is now taller than me and he just turned 14.
  Where is time going?
I am so thankful for the time we all have together as a family.
homeschooling rocks!!
The older 2 are my wing men
not sure what I'd do without them during the day

Love all the fun conversations you get with a teenager and the struggles are so much different than a 2 year old or a 9 year old.

We all have some kind of challenges(daily).
We find ways to connect with each other throughout the day every day and it's so much fun.

So thankful and blessed to be able to home school these young men and teach them about being  godly leaders.

Keep on loving and serving!

update on Gabriel

passing by his therapist the other day with all the kiddos in the car and he says do you remember when you guys had to go to that place and try things?

Oh it just made me a tad sad thinking that he just thinks everyone does the same thing as him.

We will carry on and keep praying that this little star will eat more when the time is right.   I won't give up for a million reasons.

He is healthy and strong.

We just had a weight check and he is up 6lbs and grew 3.5 inches!

Huge for this little star.

“But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord, I say, my times are in your hands,'” Psalm 31:14

In this time, this struggle, I cling to that truth and hope.
His times are in His hands too.

oh November where have you gone..

The bigs were having a blast with the balloons..Can we just say Abraham did not like this one bit.

love this man of mine

Olivia loves to mess with his hair..he's not sure about the ponytail thing going on.

Olivia got the 2 littles these digging for bones things from target and they loved it.  Sometimes we just need little things to do here to keep them occupied while we're schooling.

list, lists, lists and i still forget things

Olivia took the boys old holey socks and made dresses and headbands for her dolls out of them..bad pictures but you get the idea.

Where in the world is time going..they are growing way to fast!

It's louder than ever in our house with this little star trying out his drum skills

Studying the solar system right now and loving it..

We've been on a soup kick in this house.  Made 3 different ones in a week.  Homemade tomato soup which took quite a long time, gfree chicken noodle and chili.  We've been making them for lunch which works great.

I've got some massively growing kids here..blows my mind!

Odin finished these last week..he's loving his books lately

Olivia is studying all about knights and vikings right now and she loves it.

made some chocolate chip, butterscotch and pretzel cookies..yum!

love taking a cat nap with this little star..20 minute naps are the best!

Those long hard days
It has been one of those months where we are going and going in our little world.  And i don't mean driving around and sporting events and such...i just mean life in my home.  day to day.

Feeling like I'm in a rabbit hole at times trying to get out.

Schooling, dentist appts. getting caught up, putting a kabash on the quarrels between the little 2, timeouts, and doing life so much you really don't get to play with your kids all day.

Being with them....just not playing with them.
earth is our battleground
I know this is our journey and his plan on his timeline
and what a story we will have to share
and how faith has been tested and tried and pulled
but it is hard
some have it REAL easy but that's their life
RIGHT?
it only makes us realize how much more we need him all day and every day
Life is hard
and at times... not fun
These last few years have been interesting for us
life seems to be a never ending roller coaster ride
when you step out in faith and do what God puts on your heart
whatever it may be
it's so easy to be offended at God's silence and disinterest and allow doubt to slip into our heart
or we can choose to believe God loves us with a lavish love and has our best interest at heart-
even when things make no sense to us.
Blessed are those who don't doubt me. Matthew 11:6

times come to all of us when God's activity in our lives seems to make no sense
we wonder at the circumstances we find ourselves in

God tells us
He will never leave us or forsake us Hebrews 13:5
He has lavished his great love on us 1 John 3:1
He cares about the burdens we carry and invites us to cast them on him to carry for us 1 Peter 5:7
He invites us to learn his ways and find rest for our weary and burdened souls Matthew 11:12
Don't let doubt slip in and permeate your soul.
Jesus promises we will be blessed when we choose to keep trusting him even when it seems to make no sense.
I trust you as my faithful God!

I want to be a good and faithful servant.
I am allowing his grace to cover me and his rest to penetrate my soul.
“May the LORD reward your work, and your wages be full from the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to seek refuge.” Ruth 2:12

Happy 5th birthday Gabriel

What a joy this guy is.  If we would've never listened to the email from Michelle Duggar (the Dr. is their best friend) and prayed about getting a reverse vasectomy(Dave rocks)...
Gabe would never be here.
 God is good!

So glad we drove 13 hours(we had such a blast on the trip down) to Arkansas to get a reverse vasectomy.  I talk like I went under the knife!  Dave was such a trooper.  Totally rocked the surgery and the healing.   So glad we listened to God when he put this on our hearts even though it sounded insanely crazy and weird. Gabe is truly a miracle and we are so blessed to have him  in our lives

You love playing board games, playing outside, paw patrol, star wars, using your imagination with yard sticks, drawers, counter tops..pretty much anything you can put figurines on.

Olivia did this and for $2  you can't beat it.

Since this guy doesn't eat cake he wanted ice cream.
easy and simple

We love you little man.
Thank you fro bringing so much joy to our life and always keeping us on our toes.
Thank you for all the gifts, prayers, and phone calls.
We greatly appreciate them!
