Abraham
9 months old already and this guy is walking.  He's doing so good.  He kind of walks like a zombie with his hands straight out. It has gone so fast.  Hoping the sleepness nights will end soon too!
He's done with baby food.  I've been giving him everything we eat and he loves it.  He even does great with peanut butter, eggs and milk.  He eats way better than Gabe.  He realized regular food tastes sooo much better.  Silly kid!

He is so much fun!

The kids love him so much.  We are so blessed. Time is going fast.  I can't believe he will be almost one soon.  We are so thankful for saying yes when our finances and papers tell us to say no.  Following God's plan is always better.
Thank you all for helping us!

Cute kids

One of the Dr. appts. we had was for Miah to get a hearing test.  All was good there just a flap behind his ear that is open longer than it should be was causing the problem.  It should go away over time. He's been complaining about it for a few months so we finally got him in.

Thank you to our neighbors...awhile back they blessed the kids with their first dilly bars.  It was an awesome surprise treat.  Thank you.

This little star is some serious yummy goodness!

Jonah dressing up like Bucky.....We have some serious Nerf gun battles here.

Festival food gift card buys....I think the deli and the bakery are their favorite things!

no judging that is a 2 liter of soda...we are not soda drinkers so it's a total treat.

We spotted this beautiful couple walking ahead of us.  Love when I see people holding hands.  You just don't see that anymore.

Our recent art projects...

Happy Thursday....

The rummage is done!  It was steady all three days with beautiful weather.
We had a lot of beautiful clothes this year.  It takes us a few days to take everything down and clean up shop here.  We are usually exhausted by Sunday night.

Thank you to all of you who have come out and shown your support.  Thank you also for all the wonderful donation of items for the rummage and for all the baked goods that were donated as well.  The kiddos had a blast selling the lemonade, cookies and bars.
Thanks again for loving us!

We are ready for the rummage to start.
Then after that let the house showings begin.  Doing 2 big things like this at once is insane.

Come out and look around or just say hi.

Mother's Day, Rummage and House for Sale

I might be missing in action for a bit these next few weeks. We have been getting ready for our 10 family rummage coming up in 1 week. The 19, 20, 21st.  We have the most clothes this year than we ever had before.  If you've been to our rummage before you'll know that I hang all of our clothes in our garage.  "I don't like digging through clothes piles either when I 'm at rummages.  I'm kind of OCD about the rummage sale!  Once we Abraham came into our family and we knew we wouldn't have anymore girls, we priced all of Olivia's clothes from birth on up.  That consisted of 25 Rubbermaid's alone.  Crazy, cute, and so many new things she never wore!

We have girls and boys from birth on up to XXL and maternity.  There is nothing worn or stained.  I go through everything.  Most of it is all Gap, Ralph Lauren, Gymboree, Carters, Aeropostle, Chaps, Limited, Banana Republic, Lands End and more.  We have lots of toys, games, puzzles, house decor, lots of nice books, dressers, lots of bookshelves, Lego sets,  shoes, jewelry and more. Scroll down for the exact details of the rummage.

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day.  My husband made me a wonderful breakfast and the kiddos blessed me with wonderful handmade cards and cute little handmade gifts.   It was beautiful outside and we are so truly blessed.

Our neighbor made this for us...how cool is that.  You're too good to us.  It was gone the first day!
Thank you so much!

Guess who did this creative gesture?

Thank you for our May blessings. We were also blessed with a trip to Legoland in the Fall.  Thank you for loving us!

Those Hard Days
It has been one of those months where we are tired and burned out.
Feeling like I'm in a rabbit hole at times trying to get out.

Schooling, doctor,  and dentist appts. (we had 9 this month and 7 more next month) and doing life so much you really don't get to play with your kids all day

Being with them, just not playing with them.

It hit me like a ton of bricks
earth is our battleground
I know this is our journey and his plan on his timeline
and what a story we will have to share
and how faith has been tested and tried and pulled
but it is hard
some have it REAL easy but that's their life
RIGHT?
it only makes us realize how much more we need him all day and every day
Life is hard
and at times... not fun
These last few years have been interesting for us
life seems to be a never ending roller coaster ride
when you step out in faith and do what God puts on your heart
whatever it may be
it's so easy to be offended at God's silence and disinterest and allow doubt to slip into our heart
or we can choose to believe God loves us with a lavish love and has our best interest at heart-
even when things make no sense to us.
Blessed are those who don't doubt me. Matthew 11:6
times come to all of us when God's activity in our lives seems to make no sense
we wonder at the circumstances we find ourselves in

God tells us
He will never leave us or forsake us Hebrews 13:5
He has lavished his great love on us 1 John 3:1
He cares about the burdens we carry and invites us to cast them on him to carry for us 1 Peter 5:7
He invites us to learn his ways and find rest for our weary and burdened souls Matthew 11:12
Don't let doubt slip in and permeate your soul
Jesus promises we will be blessed when we choose to keep trusting him even when it seems to make no sense.
I trust you as my faithful God!

I want to be a good and faithful servant.
I am allowing his grace to cover me and his rest to penetrate my soul.
“May the LORD reward your work, and your wages be full from the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to seek refuge.” Ruth 2:12
