December 12th and the dentist
Dave went to the dentist to get a check up before he starts radiation.
we found out that radiation can be really bad for his teeth and cause problems in the future so everything that looks like it might be a problem later on needs to be fixed now
Dave has always had weak teeth so we knew this was going to be bad news
Dave said the appointment went well and everyone there was so nice
they gave him lots of stuff to help him keep his teeth strong during the treatment but he needs to do a lot of dental work before the radiation starts
he has 4 appointments starting next week
on Tuesday he will have surgery on one tooth and then more appointments that same week to fix some others
we know he needs it but he is still sore from the surgery and the costs are going to be tough on us too
Dave is doing better
he can talk better and is eating more but he is still sore
some of the nerves on his face act up but they should get better as time goes on
his neck is healing too and the scar looks really good
a week from today we have our next meeting with the radiation team in Green Bay
we will probably start treatments soon after that
pray for peace on this, finances(we do not have dental insurance) and that his mouth continues to heal
we serve an awesome God
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19

The kiddos love doing this
they wanted to put some on cars outside this time
it was a little chilly to be running around outside but that made it all the more fun for them
a couple people busted us though
they just smiled and waved
hoping they felt loved maybe after a crummy day
love wins
