 Thank you for all the wonderful gifts!
Christmas gets to be too much for the kids and we want them to not only cherish Jesus and his birth as THE reason of the holiday but to also appreciate those who share their love and blessings with us. This year we decided to do things different. The week of Christmas we selected members of our family and that was their day in our house. We prayed for them and remembered fun times we've had. We talked about their lives and the blessing they are to us and on our lives. We celebrated by opening the gifts they sent to us.  The kids loved it and so did we.  Thanks again for everything!

    Love seeing those gingerbread houses below-- we used to do them every year when my oldest was in elementary school-- so glad to see they are still happening somewhere! :)
