Welcome to Camp Funk

Do we treat our kids like brothers and sisters in Christ?  

Do we take off our parenting hat at times and try to understand their lives?

Our kids were made for more than culture...we are all sinners.  And while we can't blame the culture for the choices they make, we can acknowledge what they are up against.  We can discuss the struggles of being human.  

Most of all, we can model God's strength and compassion.  We can listen to our kids and then listen to Him, bringing grace and wisdom into our responses.
