Being a mom requires difficult conversations that nobody has script for. There is ample room for error as you find the right verbiage (not sure if that's even a word but I don't care) tone, and timing. Ask anyone who has parented long enough- and who is honest- and they'll have stories of hurtful or untimely remarks they've made. One of the goals in parenting I believe is to speak the truth in love. To figure out what needs to be said and find the best way and time to say it. This sounds simple but yet it's not, and only with prayer and God's guidance can we become moms(parents) who are wise with our words and effective in our approach.
