Steeler Game
Jonah has always been a Steeler fan. We're not sure how or why it happened, it just did. The Steelers have been Dave's 2nd favorite team so it may have something to do with that but all we know is that Jonah LOVES the Pittsburgh Steelers and is a devoted fan.

Over 2 years ago Jonah approached us about going to a Steeler game. He really wanted to go see the Steelers at their home Stadium in Pittsburgh to be as he said "with his people" He sat down and figured out how many miles the trip would be in a car, hotel versus camping, paying for meals, packing lunches for the road trip, spending money, gas, tolls, tickets to the game, and misc. He started saving and working odd jobs in the community saving some of the money for the trip. He shoveled snow, cut grass, painted, helped people move things, any job he could find to make money.
In October he finally made his dream come true. He was able to save $1500. He and Dave took off on a 4 day trip to Pittsburgh to see the Steelers play the Browns at Heinz Field. They had an absolute blast together on this trip. The Steeler fan club is one of the best in the NFL. They treated him so nicely and when they heard how he had saved all the money for the trip, they treated him and Dave to a tour of the stadium and on field access. It was great. I am not sure who enjoyed it more, Jonah or Dave? They also said what a great city Pittsburgh is and how nice everyone was to them. The Steelers won the game and even though it rained and was cold, Jonah and Dave said it was warm in their hearts. They had a great time.
