Day5
Well long week here and we got a little delayed in our random acts of kindness. Jeremiah came home from church Sunday and started to feel yucky that night.
He picked up a nasty bug. He has been out all week from school and by Wednesday my mom took him into the Urgent Care. He seemed to hang unto his 107 fever(I have never had a kid this high) for almost 4 days. They ran a bunch of tests and they came back negative. Massive stomach virus, no puking, diarrhea, very bad sore throat, aches, stuffy nose and bloody mouth. By Thursday Olivia picked it up. Go figure. We love to share in this house. Odd thing is we are never ever sick here. He has been steady at a fever of 104 along with Olivia. So we had to cancel some things this week which bummed them out but they have honestly been just sleeping and laying on the couch.
Praying that no one else gets it.
I wrote this yesterday and now have an update.
I took him in yesterday because he was awful looking and his eyes were cherry red. After 3 hours of tests and waiting he has bacterial pneumonia and an awful ear infection. Instead of hospitalizing him they decided to give him a shot in the butt to attack the pneumonia and 2 different meds(one for the eyes). We have never had this before. Crazy!
