we need to let him set the pace and the direction.
As we wait upon him in peace,
and allow him to be in charge of the where,

the who,
the how,
we will experience His promise, that "His yoke is easy, and His burden is light," and our strength will be renewed.

first day of school

Jonah is in 1st, Odin is in 3rd, Olivia is in Kdg. and Jeremiah is in preschool

she was super excited

 

this guy wants to go everyday where the big kids go.

most of them still want me to home school.....

they all had a great day and I didn't know what to do with all this quiet time.

I realize how loud and busy I like it!

We are so blessed and so full of joy in this happy family!

We have been on such a wild journey and I love every minute of it.
thank you David for these wonderful 9 years!

Did something different this year for a gift. 
We usually don't get each other gifts but this was pretty simple.
came up with some ideas for dates
a lot of silly, easy, almost free yet fun things we could do around our house or close by
will need the help of Nanee and Papa babysitting for us though

He loved it of course
I'll be sharing what we did each month as well.
we are always loking for a nice cheap date night.
God knows we need them, right!

Circus World

we had free tickets to Circus World Museum in Baraboo, WI
from the kids reading program at our local library.
We were not sure what to expect but we had a blast!
I have never been to anything like a circus and it was great.

she was from russia and she was crazy with the hula hoops

clowns are always funny

he has some crazy balancing skills

he did a full 360 balancing like that

Fun was had by all!

Mirror Lake ...part 2

We had such a good time

We were gifted a camping trip to Mirror Lake for 4 days and we just got back

secluded, private, wooded and very beautiful! 

We had so much fun just hanging out and toodling around.

The kids were  great and it was nice to just relax
