Day 6

Jeremiah wanted to use his festival card for some good food since he hasn't eaten all week.
Hilarious!

This little star loves to help with anything.

Love getting our new calendar for the fridge!  So excited to fill it up with  all the things going on next year.

This is exactly why we never get Redi Whip for home~

They got along great during the Steeler and Bronco game!  We love our football🏈🏈🏈

Going through Dave's old reenactment stuff.  The kids have a blast dressing up.

Day5

Well long week here and we got a little delayed in our random acts of kindness. Jeremiah came home from church Sunday and started to feel yucky that night.

He picked up a nasty bug.  He has been out all week from school and by Wednesday my mom took him into the Urgent Care.  He seemed to hang unto his 107 fever(I have never had a kid this high) for almost 4 days.  They ran a bunch of tests and they came back negative.  Massive stomach virus, no puking, diarrhea, very bad sore throat, aches, stuffy nose and bloody mouth.  By Thursday Olivia picked it up.  Go figure.  We love to share in this house.  Odd thing is we are never ever sick here.  He has been steady at a fever of 104 along with Olivia.  So we had to cancel some things this week which bummed them out but they have honestly been just sleeping and laying on the couch.

Praying that no one else gets it.

I wrote this yesterday and now have an update.
I took him in yesterday because he was awful looking and his eyes were cherry red.  After 3 hours of tests and waiting he has bacterial pneumonia and an awful ear infection.  Instead of hospitalizing him they decided to give him a shot in the butt to attack the pneumonia and 2 different meds(one for the eyes).  We have never had this before.  Crazy!

Love our homemade pizza night🍕🍕🍕

We love our eggs at the Funks!

Thank you Jody for the Chili!!!

Day 4

One of my kiddos eats rasberries by the box.  IT's so hard to keep up with them sometimes.  I love my growing kiddos!
(This was in one sitting)

This little star at the dentist is awesome.  He  loved helping.

The big three have been working on their wood spoons for tech Ed class.  Now they are down to the sanding part.

My happy spot!

Bad picture...love this homeschooling life!

Random Acts of Kindness Event 2019

Our Daily Random Acts of Kindness Advent has begun. The fun of it is doing something every day and carrying it over throughout the whole year.  We love this more and more every year. I'll be honest with you but we didn't do a very good job of carrying anything over but baking, flowers and a few other random ideas.  My kiddos just love to bake non stop so that is what we did all year.  Baked goods can change the world!!

I hope you’ll join in on the fun with us.  Do one every day or every week.  Skip around.  Make up your own.  You can’t mess it up…kindness is kindness and it totally matters.

Sorry I had a little star take this one..

We are a boxing and wrestling family..if you got gloves, bring them over.

The crash after a long day of baking and boxing!

Olivia made a tent for her American Girl.

As you can see we have the fall decorations up and we're putting up the Christmas décor.  It's quite chaotic when we do this with the little 2.

We've been making a bunch of meals for families.  Lots going on right now. It's a simple little thing you're whole family could do for someone.  Look around you and see if anybody could use one.  Meals are a huge blessing for others.

Happy Monday!

1.God is in control. He is. Not us. He is all seeing, all knowing, all powerful and has NO limits. Isaiah doesn’t start in these verses immediately talking about what needs to be done. He stops and says….Hey, don’t you remember who God is? He is God who loves us with an always and forever love. We can count on it and rest in it- even in (and especially when) life is crazy around us.

2.  God is everlasting

3. God is the creator of the ends of the earth.

4. God is infinite in His energy. He is ALWAYS working and NEVER tires or gets weary.

5. God is unchangeable. Even when life makes no sense to us, God’s not ever confused or perplexed or overwhelmed.

6. God is strong...ALWAYS

7. God is generous. He isn’t just powerful, He wants US to walk in power with Him. He meets our weakness with His strength.

When we seek it, God gives us an ample supply of His strength.  I don't know about you but for that I am so crazy thankful.

He has his eyes on me and holds me in the palm of His hand.  When I start to fall(and I WILL fall) in my own strength, He will catch me.

My prayer today is that we are reminded to lean into Him and His strength and to draw from His power when we feel weak. To steady ourselves on the only true thing we can count on in this world
Jesus.
