allergy testing
Abraham has had some skin issues for the last few months. It seemed to come on real fast and heavy at 1 point and never left. He qualified to get some skin testing done at the dermatologist. It consisted of 6 appointments total. They apply 6 sets of patches with a total of 80 different squares of chemicals on and let it sit for 48 hours. We go back the following day and they read the results and go from there.

We made it through this with no problems. He was allergic to 4 different things. First one was Diazolidinylurea which has many names. Found in creams, lotions, cosmetic and medical products.2nd one was Imidazolidinyl Urea which also has many names. Found in the same types of things but also in shampoos, conditioners, deodorants and topicals. 3rd was Chromate. Found in many different products like detergents, certain papers, cleaners, makeup, soaps and the list goes on. Last one was Cobalt found in various different things as well. He seems to be doing good now. Just staying aware of labels and such. He was only tested for skin allergies nothing else. Glad to be done and have some answers.
Hope you had an awesome weekend and a great start to a new week!
