Shop With A Cop - Kiel P.D.

We had a wonderful day yesterday at our police department's annual "Shop with a Cop" program.  Every year my husband's police department holds fundraisers to raise money for this and it is always so awesome to be part of. There were many happy children and thankful parents.  The officers work really hard to make everything go well and prepare for the event. Dave is so proud of them and the work his officers do for these kids. On the day of the event, the officers meet the kids at Walmart and each child goes shopping with an officer to get some gifts for them and their family. After shopping they meet the volunteers at our community center and then we wrap the gifts, eat pizza and have a visit from Santa who brings the kids gift cards and some wonderful homemade fleece blankets. Thanks to everyone who helps out doing this and for all the generous donations of your time, your money and your hearts.  Have a wonderful Sunday!
